"Griffin’s Cup" FFA Tournament
Dear Lords,
The official newspaper HWM Daily and HWM Radio declare the beginning of double elimination tournament “Griffin’s Cup” held between different MCs!
You can submit your application for the tournament here.
Rules of the tournament
The tournament will be held among the players of 13-17 CL (members of different MCs).
Type of battles: 3x3, FFA. Double elimination.
Prize fund:
• 1st place: 2 000 000 and 500
• 2nd place: 1 000 000
The prize fund will be divided among the players of one MC.
If you wish to donate some gold in order to increase the prize fund, you can make a transfer to Êàññèýëü, with an obligatory mark "Voluntary Contribution for the Tournament Griffin’s Cup" in a protocol. 100% of your contributions will be enlisted in the prize fund of the tournament.
Schedule:
• Submit your applications: November, 5 - November, 9
• Challenge the participants: November, 10 - November, 11
• Participate in the challenge battles: November, 12 - November, 14
• Participate in the tournament battles: November, 14 - November, 28
Organizers:
1. Organization.
1.1 There will be no more than 8 battles per 1 MC during the tournament.
The leader/deputy/warlord of MC can submit an application for the tournament in this topic. The following information should be mentioned:
• ¹ and title of MC.
• MC coordinator.
• MC coordinator’s Skype (obligatory).
1.2 Further discussions will be held only with the MC coordinator mentioned in the tournament application.
The MC coordinator must inform the members of his MC about the organizers’ directions at the proper time.
If the MC coordinator is offline in Skype for 1 day after the moment of registration or he ignores the organizers’ directions or he doesn’t appear by the time the battle starts, the MC is disqualified.
The leader/deputy/warlord of MC can appoint a new coordinator at least 3 hours before the battle starts.
1.3 Main characters, members of MC-participants can take part in the tournament. They must enter the MC at least 3 hours before the battle starts. One character must be a member of only 1 MC-participant.
1.4 If the MC coordinators can’t choose the exact time/date of battle themselves, organizers can appoint it. In case of nonappearance the MC will be disqualified.
The organizers should be informed about the time of the battle at least 6 hours before the battle starts!
30-60 minutes before the start of the battle the organizer will be added to Skype, a common chat will be created, the person creating the battle application will be determined.
*15 minutes before the start of the battle the players inform organizers about their ammunition (9 artifacts), faction, talents, army.
*Some other problems not mentioned in the regulations will be solved individually.
2. Type of battles.
The MC members can enter the battle within 5 minutes. They must do it as quickly as possible. If they are too slow and the battle fails due to this reason, the MC will be disqualified. The decision is made by the organizers after explanation.
Enlisting (if the player of “A” MC creates the application):
1) the 1 player of “B” MC;
2) the 2 player of “A” MC;
3) the 2 player of “B” MC;
4) the 3 player of “B” MC;
5) the 3 player of “A” MC.
This is the double elimination tournament.
If the number of applicants is not divisible by 8, the number of chosen participants will be rounded down to the number divisible by 8. The rest of MCs will be able to challenge the chosen MCs and take their places only in case of victory. It means you should submit your application as soon as you can in order to be chosen. Your opponent for the challenge will be chosen randomly, the battle is obligatory. One player can participate in one challenge battle.
The tournament is divided into 2 parts (part 1 is for winners and part 2 is for losers). All the participants start the tournament in the 1 part.
The parts are divided according to the participants’ CLs:
• part 1: 15-16-17 CL
• part 2: 13-14-15 CL (the first 2 battles), 14-15-16 (further battles)
3. Mercenaries.
3.1 You can hire mercenaries for the tournament. They must enter the MC at least 3 hours before the battle starts. One character must be a member of only 1 MC-participant.
4. Offences and penalties. Rematch. Delay of the failed battle.
4.1 Violations of these regulations are:
• the MC coordinator’s nonappearance in Skype during the 24-hours period or disregarding the organizers’ requests;
• the MC players’ nonappearance at the tournament battle at the appointed time;
• false information about your ammunition (9 artifacts), faction, talents, army.
4.2 Penalties for these violations are:
• MC’s disqualification OR rematch of the battle (if both coordinators are not against it).
• Rematch of the battle in case of any violations can be held if the opponent doesn’t mind. Otherwise, MC will be disqualified.
• Rematch of the battle must be held within 24-hours period after the failed battle.
!!! If you decide to delay or rematch the battle, you must inform the organizer about it in the common Skype-chat. Otherwise, your decision is invalid.
*The organizers are not responsible for any force majeure situations. The decision to rematch/delay the battle is made individually by the participants.
These regulations can be changed by the organizers.
